VANCOUVER, B.C. — Zack MacEwen of Stratford had a big game for the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night.
MacEwen scored two goals to help the Canucks to an important 6-3 win over the visiting Colorado Avalanche.
The win improved the Canucks’ record to 35-26-6 (won-lost-overtime losses).
MacEwen enters Sunday night’s home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets with four goals and one assist for five points along with 20 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 15 National Hockey League games with the Canucks since being recalled from the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League.
