The New York Islanders defenceman, who turned 20 on Jan. 7, scored 2:40 into the second period of Tuesday’s game with the Detroit Red Wings. The goal made it 6-1 as the Islanders routed the Wings 8-2 in Uniondale, N.Y.
“I just got a pass from Pulock on the wall and just tried to throw it down there. I’m not sure what it hit, but it ended up in the back of the net. It’s maybe a weird one to remember, but it’s definitely a cool feeling scoring your first NHL goal.” - Noah Dobson pic.twitter.com/RochPt805n

A night he’ll never forget! 🥳
