CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — An Island native and a member of the Charlottetown Islanders will play for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in the CIBC Canada Russia Series next month.

Cornwall’s Jordan Spence and the Islanders Lukas Cormier, both defencemen, will suit up in the games in Saint John, N.B., on Nov. 4, and Moncton on Nov. 5. They will be the first two games of the series before it moves to Ontario and Western hockey leagues.

The Russian roster is expected to be released next week.
