Remparts trim Islanders 8-2

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Anthony Gagnon had two goals and an assist and Yu Sato scored twice to lead the Quebec Remparts to an 8-2 victory over the Charlottetown Islanders at Videotron Centre on Sunday.
Andrew Coxhead (1-1), Nathan Gaucher (1-1), Colton O’Brien and Gabriel Montreuil also scored for the Remparts, who upped their record to 12-13-1 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Thomas Casey (1-1) and William Trudeau replied for the Islanders (14-9-4).
The Remparts held period leads of 4-1 and 7-2.
Winning goaltender was Anthony-Carmine Pagliarulo and Jacob Goobie took the loss.
The Islanders visit the Rimouski Oceanic 14-6-5) on Tuesday.
