ABRAM-VILLAGE, P.E.I. — Silas Handrahan led the way for the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings in a clash of defending league champions at the Evangeline Recreation Centre on Sunday afternoon.

Handrahan scored a hat trick and added an assist as the Red Wings topped the Moncton Vitos 8-3 in an interlocking game between the Island Junior Hockey League and the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League.
Alex Morrissey (2), Austin Taylor (1-1), Chandler Wood (1-1) and Bradley Campbell also found the back of the net for the Red Wings, who now sport a perfect regular-season record of 5-0-0 (won-lost-overtime losses). Isaac Callaghan (2), Matt Thompson, Thomas Rennie, Connor Morrissey and Austin Arsenault added assists.
Chris Dunham (2) and Remi Theriault replied for the Vitos.
The Red Wings held period leads of 3-0 and 4-1 and outscored the Vitos 4-2 in the final 20 minutes to put the game away.
Luke Oliver turned away 28 of 31 shots to earn the goaltending win. Brandon McKenna had a busier afternoon in the Moncton goal, stopping 39 of 47 shots.
