POWNAL, P.E.I. — Holden Bradley had a goal and two assists as the Pownal Taco Boyz Red Devils defeated the first-place Western Regals Monday in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey League action.
Gavin Mason, Noah Brehaut and Will MacDougall also scored in the victory at the Pownal Sports Centre. Drew McPhee had two helpers while singles went to Mason, Tristan Lea, Aidan Arsenault and Thomas Docherty.
Sam Hackett scored two goals for Western while Michael McRae added the other. Assists went to Ethan Reilly, Chandler DesRoches, Liam Greenan, Rankin Noye and Kennedy Gallant.
Logan Birt earned the win while Turner Ellis was tagged with the loss.
Pownal held 3-0 and 3-1 period leads. Western went 1-for-6 on the power play and killed all five of Pownal’s chances with the man advantage.
The Red Devils improved to 4-5-0 while the Regals are 6-3-2.
