MONTAGUE, P.E.I. — Goaltender Ben Parent and forwards Ryan Richards and Taylor Read led the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers to a 4-1 road win over the Hynes Paving Maniacs on Tuesday night.
Parent turned aside 39 of 40 shots, Richards recorded two goals and an assist and Read collected three helpers in the Island Junior Hockey League game played at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre in Montague.
Keegan Buchanan and Noah Stewart also found the back of the net for the Vipers, who moved back to .500 at 3-3-0 (won-lost-overtime losses). Morgan Darbyson added two assists..
Joel MacEachern netted the lone goal for the Maniacs (1-7-0).
The Vipers built period leads of 1-0 and 3-0.
Cam Duffy made 27 saves on 31 shots for the Maniacs.
