McKenna, Spence earn QMJHL recognition

MONCTON, N.B. — Two Islanders made the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team of the week.
Moncton Wildcats teammates Jeremy McKenna and Jordan Spence were part of the squad announced on Monday.
McKenna, a Summerside forward, had four goals and five assists in four games for the Wildcats. Spence, a defenceman from Cornwall, had a goal and four helpers.

McKenna has 34 goals and 37 assists for 71 points in 50 games this season while Spence, a Los Angeles Kings draft pick, has eigth goals and 38 assists for 46 points in 53 games.
The team also included forwards Mathieu Desgagnes (Acadie-Bathurst) and Nathan Legare (Baie-Comeau), defenceman David Aebischer (Gatineau) and goalie Tristan Cote-Cazenave (Quebec).
