play tonight in Charlottetown
The last dress rehearsal before the big dance begin goes tonight as the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Knights host the Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild.
Game time for the New Brunswick/Major Midget Hockey League contest is 7 p.m. at MacLauchlan Arena.
The rivals will play in the best-of-seven series for provincial bragging rights and the honour of representing P.E.I. at the Atlantics in Corner Brook, N.L., April 2-5. No schedule has been confirmed for the Island championship.
The Wild (21-11-3) began the first of three games in as many days Thursday night in Bathurst, N.B., against the Northern Moose (13-8-4). Results were unavailable at press time.
They play the Knights (11-18-6) tonight before hosting the Saint John Vitos (16-21-0) Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Credit Union Centre. They close out the regular season Wednesday in Bathurst.
After tonight, the Knights host the Fredericton Caps (17-17-2) Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. before heading to Fredericton, N.B., Thursday to complete the regular season with a 7:45 p.m. contest.
