Connor Cameron will serve as the interim executive director of Hockey P.E.I. following Geoff Kowalski's recent resignation.

Both joined the province’s governing body for hockey in January 2019 with Cameron serving as technical director. Kowalski resigned to pursue other career opportunities. His last day in the office will be Friday.

“On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to thank Geoff for his time and effort put forth to our organization and wish him all the best moving forward,” Hockey P.E.I. president Mike Hammill said in a release.

On Tuesday, Tanner Doiron was named the manager of hockey operations and communications.
