ALBERTON, P.E.I. — Ethan Reilly’s second goal of the game was the equalizer Tuesday as the Western Regals skated to a 3-3 draw with the Kings County Kings in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey League action.
The Kings jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period at the Jacques Cartier Arena in Alberton, but the home side responded with three in the second to earn a point.
Carson Wood had the other goal for the home side while assists went to Alex Arthur, Chandler DesRoches and Reilly.
Owen Gormley, Dylan Blackett and Jarrett Victory tallied markers for the Regals with assists going to Craig Steadman and Jacob MacPhee.
Nylan Hustler (Western) and Landon Patton (Kings County) were the goalies.
Western went 1-for-2 on the power play while Kings County was 1-for-5. Western (12-8-4) is in second place in the five-team league while Kings County (2-17-6) is in the basement.
