MONTAGUE, P.E.I. — Kalib Snow had a goal and two assists Tuesday to lead the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers to a 6-3 victory over the Hynes Paving Eastern Maniacs.
Nick Trainor, Dixon MacLeod and Duncan Picketts each had a goal and an assist in the Island Junior Hockey League victory at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre in Montague. Ryan Richards and Blake Gallant rounded out scoring for the visitors.
Joe MacEachern and Tayler Read each had two helpers while singles went to Colin Goodwin, Dawson MacCormack and Brett Ballum.
Ben MacIsaac, Jacob Outhouse and Tyson MacInnis replied with Eastern’s goals. Nick Steele had two assists while singles were credited to Jason Poley, Jarrett Victor, Jake MacLaren and MacInnis.
Ben Parent made 31 saves for the win while Alex Condon stopped 40 shots in the loss. The Vipers held 2-0 and 3-2 period leads.
Kensington (8-4-0) moved into second place in the four-team standings while Eastern (0-12-0) is in the basement.
