PEAKES, P.E.I. — The Kings County Baseball League playoff series between the Peakes Bombers and Morell Chevies is going the distance.
Rob Phelan kept the Chevies’ batters off balance all day and the Bombers used a steady offensive attack in a 7-0 win on Sunday that evened the best-of-five semifinal at 2-2.
The teams are scheduled to play the fifth and deciding game in Morell on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Quick start
Facing a must-win situation in Game 4, the Bombers got on the board with three runs in the second inning on an RBI groundout by Jake MacLaren, a Tyson McInnis stolen base and an RBI single by Phelan. The Bombers added four more runs in the fourth inning on consecutive RBI singles by Sean Corcoran and Connor Myers and McInnis plated a pair.
McInnis and Dillon Doucette each went 2-for-3 to lead the Bombers offensively.
Scott Harper (2-3), Taylor Larkin (1-2) and Desi Doyle (1-2) led the Chevys at the plate.
Phelan threw five innings for the win while Doucette shut the door in the final two innings. Taylor Larkin, who received relief help from Troy Coffin and Matt Barlow, took the pitching loss.
