TIGNISH, P.E.I. — The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period and extended that margin to 7-0 after 40 minutes en route to an 8-0 triumph over the North River Flames on Tuesday night.

The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game was played at the Tignish Credit Union Arena.
Tyson Beckingham (2), Brayden Handrahan (1-2), Tristan Cahill (1-1), Will Tuplin (1-1) and Kane Arsenault (1-1), Brayden Arsenault and Alex McRae scored for the league-leading Aces, who are now 18-1-1 (won-lost-overtime losses).
McGuire Gallant recorded a 20-save shutout for the Aces.
The second-place Flames fell to 13-6-0.
