MONCTON, N.B. — Bryce Corless went 7-for-9 from three-point territory en route to a 27-point night to help the Holland College Hurricanes defeat the Crandall Chargers 81-70 Monday in Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association men’s basketball
Aki Kobayashi had 22 points to lead the Hurricanes to a 77-53 victory over the Chargers in women’s basketball.

Men
Jordan Holness and Jayden McMullen each had 12 points for Holland College in the men’s victory while Marc Hofer chipped in 11 off the bench.
Daniel Maxwell scored a game-high 34 point for the Chargers.
Holland College held 20-16, 45-26 and 62-44 quarter leads. The Hurricanes hit 55 per cent of their shots from the field, 47 per cent on three-point attempts and 88 per cent of their free throws.
Holland College improved to 4-2 while Crandall is 4-3 at the end of the 2019 portion of the schedule.
Women
Sophie Atkinson had 12 points and Courtney Kane-Rissling chipped in 11 points off the bench.
Melissa Smith had 22 points to pace the Chargers.
The Hurricanes held 24-11, 45-23 and 60-35 quarter leads. Holland College held the advantage from the field (57-40 per cent).
Holland College improved to 4-2 while Crandall is 0-7.
