CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jean-Luc Duguay stopped all 28 shots he faced Monday as the North River Flames shut out to Sherwood Metros 6-0 in Razzy’s Prince Edward Island Junior C Hockey League action.

Connor Andrews had two goals and an assist while Zac MacKay had a goal and two helpers to lead the Flames’ offence at Cody Banks Arena.

Kyler Weeks, Drew Nelson and Daniel Collister also scored as North River tallied twice in each period. Alex McCarron and Daniel Godfrey each recorded two assists while Weeks, Griffin Hughes and Alex Young all chipped in singles.

Sumner Docherty stopped 35 shots for the Metros.

North River was 2-for-10 on the power play and killed all four of Sherwood’s chances with the man advantage.

The Flames improved to 13-5-0 while the Metros are 5-13-0.
