Dickson has six-point night in Prince County win in P.E.I. under-15 hockey

CRAPAUD, P.E.I. — Ethan Dickson had three goals and three assists to pace the Prince County Warriors to an 11-1 victory over the Mid-Isle Matrix Sunday in P.E.I. Major Under-15 AAA Hockey League action.
Carson Griffin and Colby Hudson each had two goals and an assist while Riley Gallant had a goal and two helpers in the win at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud.
Will Murphy and Lincoln Waugh each had a goal and an assist while Tyson Wedge rounded out the scoring. Cam Schurman had two assists while Denver Arsenault, Kordell Ramsay and Travis Wedge each added one.
Mitchell Ford from Liam Boswall and Luke Inman replied for Mid-Isle.
Cole Echlin stopped 11 shots for the win while Landon MacKinnon was peppered with 55 shots in the loss.
Prince County, which held 4-0 and 6-1 period leads, improved to 6-3-0 while Mid-Isle dropped to 2-5-0.
The teams combined for 83 minutes of penalties. It included 10 hits to the head penalties and three for fighting.
