ABRAM-VILLAGE, P.E.I. — Isaac Callaghan had four goals and an assist Sunday to pace the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings to an 8-1 win over the Hynes Paving Maniacs.

The Island Junior Hockey League-leading Red Wings held 3-0 and 3-1 period leads before scoring five times in the first 13 minutes of the third period at the Evangeline Recreation Centre.

Ethan Beaulieu had a goal and an assist in the win while Isaac Knox and Bradley Campbell also scored. Connor Morrissey and Chandler Wood each had two helpers while singles were credited to Austin Callaghan, Chase Gaudette, and Stephen Smallwood.

Nolan Stewart from Jesse McGrath and Jake MacLaren replied for the Maniacs.

Carter Champion had 22 saves in the win while Alex Condon allowed seven goals on 55 shots in 53 minutes of action in the loss. Nicolas Jamieson stopped six of seven shot in relief.

Western improved to 12-2-0 while Eastern is 0-14-0.
