SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The 43rd annual Summerside Intermediate School’s Glenn Edison Memorial tip-off basketball tournament this weekend has been postponed due to the forecasted weather.
Efforts are underway to reschedule the tournament for next weekend.
The tournament, which honours a former principal and longtime coach at SIS, was scheduled to have 12 teams – six boys and six girls – play a round-robin format.
A new schedule is expected to be released next week based on availability of teams.
