GEORGETOWN, P.E.I. — The top two teams in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League posted victories on Friday night.
The league-leading Georgetown IceDogs downed the Southside Lynx 5-2, and the second-place Tignish Aces rallied in the third period to edge the North River Flames 5-4.

At the Three Rivers Sportsplex in Georgetown, Michael Gallant (2), Alex MacEachern (1-1), Keir Warren (1-1) and Cam White scored for the IceDogs, who improved to 13-3-0 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Caelan Campbell and Nic Farrar countered for the Lynx (1-11-0), who host the Flames (7-4-1) in Crapaud on Saturday at 7:50 p.m.
Georgetown held period leads of 1-0 and 2-1.
Brandon Barrett made 26 saves in recording the goaltending win. Lynx goaltender Zachery DesRoches stopped 44 of the 48 shots he faced.

At the Tignish Credit Union Arena, Brayden Handrahan (1-2), Tristan Cahill (1-1), Lexin Gaudet (1-1), Dawson Sellick (1-1) and James Doyle found the back of the net for the Aces (11-5-0).
Ean Killam, Kyler Weeks and Patrick Wyand answered for the Flames.
There was no scoring in the first period, and the Flames took a 3-1 lead into the final 20 minutes.
Cole Gallant earned the goaltending win with a 29-save performance. Ryan Clory was tested 36 times in the North River goal.
