CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The National Basketball League of Canada game between the Saint John Riptide and the Island Storm set for Wednesday at the Eastlink Centre has been cancelled.

A post on the Storm’s Twitter feed said traveling issues with the Riptide postponed the Boxing Day contest.

A makeup date will be announced.

Next up, the Storm (2-6) face the Magic (10-1) in Moncton, N.B., on Friday. Game time is 7 p.m.
