CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Suburban F.C. improved to 2-0 Friday at the Atlantic under-13 girls' club soccer championship in Charlottetown with a 4-0 victory over Hillsborough United.
Alex Streatch, Idara Akpan, Katelyn Wilton and Liberty Yuke scored for the Nova Scotia squad in the victory while Emiliana Foster and Emily MacTavish shared the clean sheet.
Hillsborough United is 0-2 after losing its opening game 2-0 to Conception Bay South, N.L., on Thursday.
Action continues Saturday with the playoff games going Sunday.
