CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Charlottetown Islanders head coach Jim Hulton will lead the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League squad in the CIBC Canada Russia Series.
He served as an assistant coach with Dominique Ducharme during last year’s games in Charlottetown and Moncton.
Hulton will be part an assistant coach with Team Canada for the world junior tournament in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C., in December and the Canada Russia series is a key identification tool for the Hockey Canada brass.
Cape Breton Screaming Eagles head coach Marc-Andre Dumont will be an assistant with Hulton during games in Sherbrooke, Que., on Nov. 13, and Drummondville, Que., on Nov. 15. Sherbrooke’s Stéphane Julien will join the coaching staff in Sherbrooke while Voltigeurs bench boss Steve Hartley handling the responsibilities in Drummondville.
