BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – Noah Dobson of Summerside is one of 15 players from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) selected to play in the 2018 Sherwin-Williams Canadian Hockey League (CHL)/National Hockey League (NHL) Top Prospects Game.

The 17-year-old defenceman is enjoying a stellar sophomore season with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. The right-handed-shooting Dobson went into Wednesday night’s game against the Charlottetown Islanders with 31 points – four goals and 27 assists – in 32 regular-season games.

The Top Prospects Game, which will showcase the Canadian Hockey League’s top-40 NHL-draft-eligible players, will be played in Guelph, Ont., on Thursday, Jan. 25. Sportsnet and TVA Sports will televise the game live nationally.

The son of Andrew and Jenny Dobson recently moved into sixth spot on Sportsnet’s NHL draft chart according to its December rankings.

The CHL is made up of the QMJHL, Ontario Hockey League and Western Hockey League.
