Sprong was named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s first star of the month for February on Wednesday.

He had 14 goals and 12 assists for 26 points in 11 games. The month included three game-winning goals and three contests of four points. Since returning from injury on Jan. 6, Sprong has 37 points in 22 games.
