CHARLOTTETOWN – Bradley Shea and Owen Arsenault have been recognized for strong playoff performances.

Arsenault, who plays for the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros, was named the offensive player of the week in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League. Shea, a goaltender with the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces, has been announced as the defensive player of the week.
Shea was strong in Game 4 of the final series against the Metros at the Tignish Credit Union Arena as the Aces answered back with a 7-2 win to tie the series 2-2.
Shea stopped 26 of 28 shots, and this was the first time the Metros’ offence was held to just two goals since Jan. 15.
Arsenault continues producing in the 2018 post-season, and has taken the lead in the league’s playoff scoring race.
Arsenault scored two big goals in the Metros’ 5-2 win in Game 3, including the winner. He has also been key for Sherwood-Parkdale’s power play. In two games, Arsenault compiled three goals and three assists during the week.
The teams are scheduled to play Game 5 in the best-of-seven final series at the Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown on Thursday at 8:15 p.m., weather permitting.
