POWNAL, P.E.I. – Noah Dow scored the equalizer with eight minutes remaining in regulation Monday as the Sherwood Drug Mart Central Attack skated to a 3-3 tie with the host Pownal Taco Boyz Red Devils in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey League action.
Josh Lund and Emmett Lyons also scored for Central with Caden Kielly, Dow, Nick Reeves and Ben Watts each recording an assist.
Larkin Kennedy, Sam Parsons and Will MacDougall each had a goal and an assist for the Red Devils. Will Mingo added an assist.
Aiden Ross (Central) and Caleb Drake (Pownal) were the goalies. Each team was 0-for-3 on the power play. The game was tied 1-1 after the first period while Pownal took a 3-2 lead to the third.
Central is 6-15-2 and tied for fourth in the five-team league with Pownal (5-13-4).
