CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Owen MacNeill scored the shootout winner Thursday as the Charlottetown Bulk Carriers Pride defated the Saint John Vito’s 4-3 in New Brunswick/Prince Edward Island Major Midget Hockey League action.

Parker Cameron, Connor McGregor and Dylan Mathews scored in regulation for the visiting Pride. Seth Morris, McGregor and Nick Reeves had the assists.

Drew Elliott scored twice for Saint John while Caleb Kean had the other.

Ben Parent stopped 43 shots in the win while Rylan Holder made 32 saves in the loss.

Charlottetown won its fourth straight game to improve to 15-13-5 while Saint John is 20-13-1.

The Pride host the Northern Moose (8-21-4) tonight at 7 p.m. at MacLauchlan Arena before closing out the regular season Sunday at 1:45 p.m. by hosting the Fredericton Caps (7-24-2).
