CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Kameron Kielly had three goals and two assists to pace UPEI to a 10-2 victory over the Dalhousie Tigers Saturday as the Panthers won their final pre-season game.

The Panthers host Moncton Wednesday at 7 p.m. it is first game of the Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey regular season.

Cody Payne and Gabe Guertler each had a goal and three helpers in Saturday’s win. Beau McCue, Riley Whittingham, Tanner McCabe, Troy Lajuenesse and Owen Headrick also scored.

Lajuenesse had two assists while singles went to Brent Andrews, Filip Rydstrom, Doug Blaisdell and Headrick.

Jonathan Cyr and Duncan MacIntyre scored for Dalhousie.

Simon Hofley stopped 14 of 16 shots for the win while Daryl MacCallum stopped all eight shots he saw in the third period.

Connor Hicks allowed eight goals on 22 shots in the loss while Kevin Resop allowed two goals on 11 shots during the third period.

UPEI held 3-0 and 8-2 period leads. The Panthers were 2-for-4 on the power play and Dalhousie was 1-for-6.
