SACKVILLE, N.B. – Rachel Colle had two goals and an assist Friday to pace the UPEI Panthers to a 6-0 victory over the Mount Allison Mounties to start the second half of the Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey season.

Emma Weatherbie scored twice while Leah Byrne shorthanded and Maria Clinton each added one. Lindsay Johnston had two assists while Clinton, Jenna Pellerin and Sophie Vandale each added one.

Megan Sullivan stopped 10 shots for the shutout while Keri Martin made 23 saves in the loss.

The Panthers held 2-0 and 4-0 period leads.

UPEI improved to 4-6-5 while Mount Allison is 3-10-2. The Panthers host the St. FX X-Women (12-1-2) Saturday at 3 p.m.
