ALBERTON – The Western Regals received a balanced offensive attack on Saturday night.
The Regals received points from 14 different players in a 7-3 triumph over the Charlottetown-based Central Attack. The Regals are now 21-0-0 (won-lost-tied) in regular-season play while the Attack dropped to 6-17-2.
At the Jacques Cartier Arena, Kalim DesRoches (1-1), Jacob Hogan (1-1), Chandler DesRoches (1-1), Jack Reilly, Ethan Oliver, Thomas Rennie and Chase Gaudette scored for the Regals. James Doyle (2), Carter Cahill, Ethan Reilly, Sam Hackett, Connor Horne, Michael McRae and Thomas Shea were credited with helpers.
Josh Lund (1-1), John MacKinnon (1-1) and Justin Richard answered for the Attack. Caden Kielly (2), Ryan McCabe and Matthew Dunn drew assists.
The period scores were 2-1 and 5-2 in favour of the Regals.
Cole Gallant registered the goaltending win.
