VANCOUVER, B.C. — Zack MacEwen is going to the NHL.
The Vancouver Canucks called up the Stratford native Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old forward has 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points in 49 games this season with the Utica Comets of the AHL. He also has 49 minutes.

This is his second season in the AHL after a season with each of the Moncton Wildcats and Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
MacEwen, a six-foot-four, 218-pound power forward, signed with Vancouver in 2017.
The Canucks play at home Monday against the San Jose Sharks.
