MONCTON, N.B. – Mitchell Robillard scored a pair of goals, including the game winner, as the Moncton Blue Eagles downed the UPEI Panthers 6-4 Wednesday in Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey action.

It was the Panthers’ sixth consecutive loss.

Vincent Deslauriers (2-2), Marc-Anthony Therrien and Jean-Francois Plante also scored for Moncton (1-6-1).

Brent Andrews, Ryan MacKinnon (1-2), Gabe Guertler and Marcus Power scored for UPEI (2-6-1). RT Rice also had a pair of assists.

UPEI outshot Moncton 38-29.

Matthew Mancina tended net for the Panthers while Alexi Thaudeau was in net for the Blue Eagles.

UPEI scored twice in five power-play opportunities while Moncton was 3-for-7.

UPEI is back in action on Saturday when it hosts UNB (7-0-1) at 7 p.m.
