KENSINGTON, P.E.I. — The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers will host the A&S Scrap Metal Metros Sunday at Credit Union Centre and the teams put a 1-0 record on the line.
The Island Junior Hockey League game starts at 7 p.m.
Both squads are coming off opening night wins.
The Vipers won a tight 2-1 effort over arch rival the Arsenault’s Fish Mart Western Red Wings, while the Metros overcame a 4-1 third period deficit to defeat the Eastern Maniacs 6-4.
Former Viper standout goalie Grant Grady has joined the Vipers coaching staff. Grady coached last season with the Summerside midget AAA squads and will help in all areas including goaltenders.
