SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces swept the player-of-the-week awards in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.

Brandon Forsythe took the offensive award while Colin Gaudette was named the top defensive performer.
Forsythe has scored big goals for the Aces when they needed them most in the first three games of the league championship series against the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros.
Forsythe is a big body in front of the net, and is able to pounce on loose pucks and he had two goals and three assists in three games.
Gaudette tended goal in both road games for the Aces against the Metros. Although the Aces lost Game 1 by a 5-4 score, Gaudette’s play gave his team a chance. In Game 3, Gaudette delivered a lot of key saves to keep the game close before the Aces took over in a 4-2 win.
Overall, Gaudette stopped 71 of 78 shots in the two games for a .910 save percentage.
Tignish will take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series into Game 4 at the Tignish Credit Union Arena on Friday at 8 p.m.
