Brudenell’s Jonathan Hicken will look to close the gap on Dylan Blenkhorn in the Parts For Trucks Pro Stock Tour standings Saturday during the Nova Truck Centres Make-A-Wish 150 at Scotia Speedworld near Halifax.
Blenkhorn, a Truro, N.S., native, leads Hicken by 30 points after the first three races of the 12-race series. Reigning series champion Cole Butcher of Hantsport, N.S., is in third place, four points back of Hicken.
Jarrett Butcher of Porter’s Lake, N.S. sits one point behind big brother in fourth place while Brackley Beach’s Chris Hughes enters the weekend in fifth spot.
Blenkhorn is the defending champion of the Make-A-Wish 150.
The grandstand gates will open at 1 p.m. with the Atlantic Tiltload heat races slated for 4 p.m. Admission (cash only) is $25 for adults; $8 for youth; pit admission is $30. Children seven and under are admitted for free.
The series shifts to Oyster Bed Speedway for Race 5 of the series on Saturday, June 29. It will make its second stop there on Saturday, Aug. 3, for the Lucas Oil 150.
