Gallant, Peterman team up for national mixed doubles Olympic trials

Charlottetown native Brett Gallant, second with Brad Gushue’s Newfoundland and Labrador rink, and Jocelyn Peterman, second stone on the Chelsea Carey rink from Alberta, are teaming up for the Canadian mixed doubles curling trials Jan. 2-7 in Portage La Prairie, Man.

The winner represents Canada at the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, where mixed doubles is a medal sport for the first time.

Gallant and Peterman won the Canadian mixed doubles title in 2016.
