POWNAL – The Eastern Express received goals from four different players in a 4-2 victory over the Prince County Warriors in P.E.I. Major Bantam AAA Hockey League play on Thursday night.
Ross Campbell (1-1), Sam Worth, Holden Bradley and Connor MacFadyen scored for the Express on home ice at the Pownal Sports Centre. Avery Brown (2), Ryan Steadman, Sam Cassibo, Will Landry and Cam Walsh set up the goals as the Express improved to 2-0 (won-lost)
Clark Allain and Mason MacRae countered for the Warriors (0-2). Assists were credited to Xavier Dalton, Patrick Shea and Edmund Perry.
The Express built period advantages of 2-0 and 4-1.
Nathan Bailey earned the goaltending win over Nylan Hustler.

The Warriors host the Mid-Isle Matrix (0-1) at the O'Leary Community Sports Centre on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
