Three weeks left, and I’m edging ever closer to my goal of 65% success on the season with NFL picks, straight up, not against the spread.
Up to 63.2% after going 13-3 last week, three weeks after going 13-1. Over the past four weeks my record is 43-17 (.717). Hot at the right time.
Let’s get right to it for Week 15:
N.Y. Jets at Baltimore, Thursday
KRYK PICK: Baltimore
The last Thursday game of the season. My final Thursday record: 13-4 (.765). But understand something. Before this year, I was absolutely AWFUL at picking Thursday games.
Seattle at Carolina, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
(CTV and CTV 2 BC, Alberta; via FOX)
KRYK PICK: Seattle
First game for interim Panthers head coach Perry Fewell, who served as interim head coach exactly 10 years ago, after Buffalo fired Dick Jauron. In other news, the Seahawks win.
New England at Cincinnati, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
(CTV Montreal, Atlantic; CTV2 Ottawa; via CBS)
KRYK PICK: New England
The Bengals are said to be livid a Patriots videographer filmed footage of their sideline last Sunday in Cleveland, which the Pats insist was an innocent mistake. Guess who’s no doubt more livid at the accusations and distractions? Right, Bill Belichick.
Tampa Bay at Detroit, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: Tampa Bay
Bucs WR Mike Evans is done for the year with a hamstring injury. QB Jameis Winston is expected to play with a sore thumb. Detroit reportedly is out six starters. Six.
Chicago at Green Bay, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
(CTV Toronto, Kitchener, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg; CTV2 Atlantic; via FOX)
KRYK PICK: Green Bay
Mitchell Trubisky is rolling! He has played well for, heck, going on five or six quarters now. Think that’ll matter at Lambeau, against the NFC North-leading Packers? Right.
Denver at Kansas City, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: Kansas City
Cocky Drew Lock-y tries to make it 3-for-3 in NFL starts, this time against the AFC West leader — after leading a slaughter of the AFC South leader a week ago. The Broncos defence is for real, but Patrick Mahomes and Co. should roll.
Miami at N.Y. Giants, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: New York
If it really will be Eli Manning’s home-field swan song, how do you not pick him? Even though the Dolphins figure to score a bunch of points on a truly bad Giants defence.
Houston at Tennessee, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
(TSN; CTV2 Toronto, London/Windsor; via CBS)
KRYK PICK: Tennessee
Battle for the AFC South lead. The Titans are, by far, the more reliably strong team since the beginning of November. The Texans are as schizophrenic as any NFL team in memory.
Philadelphia at Washington, Sunday, 1 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: Philadelphia
The Eagles are not good. So many shocking roster holes gone unfilled this year by GM Howie Roseman. Philly needs to shut down Washington’s run, which it can, and eke out a close one.
Cleveland at Arizona, Sunday, 4:05 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: Cleveland
The Browns need a lot of help to reach the post-season. They’d better focus on beating this not-as-bad-as-all-that Cardinals team, or they’ll fly home from the West with another loss.
Minnesota at L.A. Chargers, Sunday, 4:05 p.m. EST
(TSN; via CBS)
KRYK PICK: Los Angeles
Do Vikings fans travel well? Answer: All teams’ fan bases travel well when the game’s at the Chargers. One of these days the Chargers have to beat a good team at home. Upset pick.
Jacksonville at Oakland, Sunday, 4:05 p.m. EST
KRYK PICK: Oakland
Like a failed rocket launch, the Jaguars shot up unexpectedly two years ago and have returned to ground with a crash, just as unexpectedly this year. Jags aren’t even competitive anymore.
L.A. Rams at Dallas, Sunday, 4:25 p.m. EST
(CTV Toronto, Montreal, Kitchener, Ottawa, Northern Ontario; CTV2 Atlantic; via FOX)
KRYK PICK: Los Angeles
The Rams two weeks ago stopped plunging. The Cowboys’ plunge is gaining speed. The Dallas O-line can’t seem to protect Dak Prescott anymore. Hello, Aaron Donald.
Atlanta at San Francisco, Sunday, 4:25 p.m. EST
(CTV BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Winnipeg; via FOX)
KRYK PICK: San Francisco
This could have all the makings of a true shootout. Not enough to make last week’s Niners-at-Saints game look low-scoring. But something close to that could be in the works.
Buffalo at Pittsburgh, Sunday, 8:20 p.m. EST
(TSN, CTV2; via NBC)
KRYK PICK: Buffalo
How did the Bills game slide down this far in the list? Ha. But no joking, the reaction in Buffalo to this win — on the road, on Sunday night, against this franchise — would be something.
Indianapolis at New Orleans, Monday, 8:15 p.m. EST
(TSN; via ESPN)
KRYK PICK: New Orleans
The Saints are not the powerhouse most of us envisioned in the summer. They’re good; not great. At least not yet. Indy would be all but done with a loss, and will fight. But home team wins.

BYES THIS WEEK: None. All done.
SEASON RECORD: 131-76-1 (.632), through Week 14.
