CORNWALL, P.E.I. — The Island Demons lost the team's first home game Saturday agasint the Maritime Women’s Football League's defending champions.

The Fredericton Lady Gladiators won the contest 24-14 at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall. Meagan Ferguson scored 40- and 30-yard touchdowns for the home side.
The Demons (0-2) host the Moncton Vipers today at 1 p.m. at the Terry Fox Sports Complex in Cornwall in its final home game of the season.
