CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The Holland College Hurricanes football team wraps up training camp Saturday with an intra-squad game a week ahead of its Atlantic Football League season opener in Saint John, N.B.
Kickoff is 9 a.m. at UPEI for the intra-squad contest.
The ‘Canes, a three-time AFL champion, begin the 2018 campaign on the road versus the UNBSJ Seawolves. Game time Saturday, Sept. 15, is 1 p.m.
Holland College lost in the semifinals last season to the Dalhousie Tigers, the 2016 champ. The UNB Red Bombers won last season’s crown.
Holland College’s home opener, also versus UNBSJ, is Saturday, Sept. 22. Start time is 1 p.m. at UPEI.
