BANGOR, Maine – MacKenzie Clow of Summerside was a key contributor in helping the Husson University men’s golf team to a recent title.

Clow shot an even-par 71 on Day 2 of the 44th annual Maine Intercollegiate Golf Association (MEIGA) championship at the Bangor Municipal Golf Course. Clow finished the 36-hole event with an overall score of 145 – tied for third – and seven strokes behind winner and teammate Gavin Dugas.
Dugas shot a 67 in Round 2 to tie his career-low score, and he finished with a total of 138 – four shots under par.
Overall, the Husson team shot a 6-under-par 278 on Day 2 to take over first place. Husson, which finished 11 strokes ahead of the second-place team, competed against 10 other schools.
Clow, a graduate of Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside, is in his senior year and is majoring in marketing at Husson, which is located in Bangor, Maine.
