CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The Central Attack scored five, first-period goals and cruised to a 9-1 win over the Mid-Isle Matrix in P.E.I. Bantam AAA Hockey League action Saturday in Charlottetown.

Daimyan Doyle scored twice in the decisive frame while Chris Koughan, Cam Squires and Isaac Vos chipped in singles.

Squires added two more markers later in the game for a hat trick and a league-leading 27 goals.

Will Morrison (1-3) and Jamie Collins had the other Attack scores.

Tyler Worth (3), Landon MacDonald (2) and Kal White (20 each tallied multi-assist games.

Myle Grant, unassisted, netted the Mid-Isle goal.

Shannon MacDonald earned the goaltending win over Tyler Rogers.

Central was 1-for-3 on the power, while Mid-Isle was scoreless in it only chance with the extra man.

The Attack led 5-0 after the first period and 8-0 at the second intermission.
