Filip Petrusev recorded 21 points and nine rebounds as third-ranked Gonzaga rebounded from a rare loss to rout San Diego 94-59 on Thursday night in West Coast Conference play at Spokane, Wash.

Corey Kispert scored 16 points and Ryan Woolridge contributed 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Bulldogs (28-2, 14-1 WCC) clinched the regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in next month's conference tourney. Gonzaga also bounced back from a 91-78 setback to BYU last Saturday that ended a 19-game winning streak.

Killian Tillie and Admon Gilder added 12 points apiece for Gonzaga, which beat the Toreros for the 12th straight time and 23rd in the past 24 meetings.

Joey Calcaterra scored 19 points for San Diego (9-21, 2-13), which dropped its fourth straight game and eighth in the past nine.

Alex Floresca tallied 11 points, and James Jean-Marie added 10 for the Toreros. Leading scorer Braun Hartfield had just three points on 1-of-5 shooting after topping 20 in three of the previous six games.

The Bulldogs owned a 51-27 rebounding advantage and shot 52.1 percent from the field, including 8 of 18 from 3-point range.

The Toreros shot 38.7 percent and were 4 of 12 from behind the arc.

Gonzaga was leading by just 10 early in the second half before rolling off 11 straight points. Kispert ended the surge with a 3-pointer to make it 60-39 with 14:17 remaining.

San Diego trimmed its deficit to 15 before the Zags rattled off 10 in a row. Woolridge scored six of the points as the lead reached 76-51 with 9:04 left.

The lead reached 30 for the first time on Petrusev's basket with 5:45 remaining.

Gonzaga's largest lead was 37.

Kispert scored 13 points and Petrusev added 10 as the Bulldogs held a 46-34 halftime lead.

The score was knotted at 18 after a basket by San Diego's Jared Rodriguez with 10:25 left in the half.

Gonzaga scored 21 of the next 30 points with Kispert slamming down a dunk to give the Bulldogs a 39-27 lead with 3:34 left.

Gilder ended the half with a 3-pointer to account for the 12-point halftime lead.
