MORELL, P.E.I. — Pat Young went 4-for-4 and pitched 5 2/3 innings for the win to lead the Northside Gill Construction Brewers to a 6-4 victory over The Alley Stratford Athletics Wednesday in Kings County Baseball League action in Morell.

Isaac Compton closed out the game, leaving a runner stranded on third in the sixth to pick up the save.
Young had two doubles, two stolen bases and two runs scored while Compton went 2-for 3 with two RBI and Nick Ryan had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI. The Brewers scored four runs in the third inning and two more in the fourth to take a 6-1 lead before the A’s came back with three of their own in the sixth.

Ryne MacIsaac had three hits for the Athletics, including a triple, and Matt Lange contributed two hits.

Brett Hicken suffered the loss with relief from Jonathan Arsenault.
