CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Jacob Smith had a two-run single to help The Alley Stratford Athletics defeat the Grant Thornton Tigers 3-1 Friday in Kings County Baseball League action.
Grant Grady drove in the other run for the A’s with an RBI double. The Tigers were led at the plate by Johnny Savidant, who was 2-for-2 with a couple walks.
Ryan MacIsaac went five strong innings for the win while Jonathan Arsenault pitched the final two innings for the save. Tyler Johnston went the distance in taking the loss.
