SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Four individuals and one team will join the Legends Field Honour Roll in Summerside.

Selection committee chairperson Paul H. Schurman announced the Class of 2019 will include builder/coach Johnny Carroll, player Gerard (Joe) Dalton, player/coach Greg MacDonald, player George McNeill and the Holman’s intermediate team, the 1951 Maritime finalists.
The honour roll recognizes individuals, teams or other organizations currently or formally from the greater Summerside area and have made outstanding contributions as builders, promoters, organizers, supporters, players, coaches, managers or volunteers to the sport of baseball.
The induction ceremony will take place at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Legends Field on Saturday, July 13, beginning at 1 p.m. The general public is encouraged to attend.
