Game times are 1 and 3:30 p.m. versus the St. F.X. X-Men.

Last weekend, the Hurricanes swept the Acadia Axemen by scores of 11-6 and 6-4 in Wolfville, N.S., before Sunday’s doubleheader in Antigonish versus the X-Men was rescheduled due to rain.  The games will be made up on Oct. 7.

This weekend, the Hurricanes will rely on Colin Arsenault as the starting pitcher in game one while Charles MacLellan will get the ball in game two.

The X-Men are 0-2 early in the season after being swept by UNB 6-4 and 12-0 last weekend.

The baseball action will continue on Sunday when the Hurricanes visit the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Game times are 1 and 3:30 p.m.

The Hurricanes are expected to go with Brady Arsenault and Zach Gosse as their starting pitchers in the doubleheader.

UNB sits at 3-1 in the standings after sweeping the X-Men and splitting a set of games with the Dalhousie Tigers; all games were played in Fredericton.

Sunday’s games are a matchup of last season’s top two teams in the Atlantic Conference.
