For their third straight game the A’s won in the seventh inning Sunday to tie the Kings County Baseball League final 3-3.
The A’s scored twice in the top of the seventh to overcome a 6-5 deficit and defeat the Peakes Tee Bombers 7-6 to force Game 7.
Randy Taylor and Allister Smith had the RBI hits in the seventh and starting pitcher Dan O’Shea got the Bombers in order in the bottom of the inning to earn the complete game victory.
Rob Phelan suffered the loss with relief from Dillon Doucette.
Taylor, Jonathan Arsenault and Marshall Ellis each had two hits for the Athletics while Colin Myers, Matt Bradley and Phelan all had RBI hits for Peakes.
Game 7 will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at MacDonald Field in Peakes.
