CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Will White scored with 3:26 left in overtime Wednesday as the Central Attack defeated the Prince County Warriors 2-1 to close out the Prince Edward Island Major Bantam AAA Hockey League regular season.

Colby Hudson gave the Warriors the lead in the first period at Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown while Cam Squires scored shorthanded to tie the game in the second period. Squires had a league-leading 40 goals during the season.

Clark Allain had an assist for the Warriors while Brennan Murphy, Luke Coughlin and Brett Arsenault had helpers for the Attack.

Ethan Clark earned the win while Cole Echlin took the loss.

Prince County went 0-for-6 on the power play while Central was 0-for-2.

The first-place Attack (21-7-1-1) will play the fourth-place Mid-Isle Matrix (3-24-3-0) in the best-of-five semifinals beginning Sunday at 4:10 p.m. at Simmons Sports Centre. The second-place Eastern Express (18-10-2-0) plays the Warriors (6-18-2-4) Sunday at 6:10 p.m. in Pownal.
